Georgia Career Information Center

The Georgia Career Information Center (GCIC) at Georgia State University provides Georgians with a central and usable source of career information based on comprehensive research and development. The primary mission of the center is to provide current and accurate career information to schools and agencies throughout Georgia in order to help young people and adults make informed occupational and educational choices. The computer-based system contains self-assessment, exploration, and search strategies as well as a vast amount of occupational and educational information.  A User ID and password is required to access this resource.  The password can be obtained from schools or youth organizations. 

General Educational Development Diploma (GED)

The GED test provides adults at least 16 years of age who are beyond the age of compulsory high school attendance under state law with an opportunity to earn a high school equivalency diploma.  It could make a world of difference in your life; a promotion, a better job, more money, and a higher standard of living to name a few. Even a $500 HOPE voucher to continue your education.
