Yasmin Linder Legal Defense Fund
Yasmin is a graduate of the Thomasville High School class of 2008. She attended classes at the University of Florida during the Fall and Spring. Prior to attending UF, Yasmin was an active member of the Thomasville community. She was a member of the National Honor Society, leader in student government, co-captain of the Lady Bulldogs, and graduated with honors while earning a dual seal. Yasmin represented Thomasville in the Junior Statesman of America Program at Yale and at Georgia Girls State at Georgia Southern. She volunteered at the Thomasville Resource Center, worked with Special Olympics and other non-profits. During high school she worked at Ruby Tuesdays, worked as a babysitter and completed an internship at the Thomasville Neurological Institute. Yasmin is a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church. She has been a productive citizen and a wonderful daughter. Yasmin is in trouble and needs your help.
I am asking you to deem her innocent unless proven otherwise. I ask that you please remember the person you have known over the years and not rely on what you read. Yasmin was released on her own recognizance in September and the case has been continued until January 2010. We are currently in danger of losing her current legal representation due to the financial burden.
I am also asking for your continued prayers. We realize the economic plight of our country and know that it is hitting our area especially hard.
